6 Tracks. One Shared Mission.

DesignOps Summit is organized into six deep-dive tracks so you can build the exact schedule that fits your role and goals. Each track runs across both days.

  • 🏗 Design Systems & Infrastructure — Tokens, component libraries, multi-brand theming, and the org structures that keep systems healthy at scale.

  • 📐 Design–Engineering Partnership — Handoff workflows, shared tooling, cross-functional rituals, and making Figma-to-code actually work.

  • 📊 Metrics & Measurement — How to instrument your design org, make the case to leadership, and track what actually matters.

  • 🤖 AI in DesignOps — Practical applications of AI for design work: from generative UI to automated accessibility and content ops.

  • 🌱 Team Structure & Culture — Embedded vs. centralized models, hiring, onboarding, career ladders, and building teams that last.

  • 🚀 Leadership & Strategy — Influencing executives, securing headcount, setting a design vision, and leading through ambiguity.

Full schedule — including workshops, panels, and lightning talks — on the Schedule page.

DesignOps Summit workshop session

More Than Talks

DesignOps Summit is built for practitioners, not passive listeners. Every track includes at least one hands-on workshop, and our hallway track is legendary — attendees consistently say the hallway conversations are worth the ticket price alone. Expect curated roundtables for different company stages (startup / scale-up / enterprise), an open design critique session, a tooling fair where vendors do live demos and take questions, and an opening-night rooftop reception at a venue with genuinely excellent views. We keep things to 1,200 attendees so it stays personal. No cattle-call keynotes.

DesignOps Summit completely changed how I think about my role. I came as a skeptic — 'ops' sounded like bureaucracy — and left with a clear framework for scaling our design practice. I've recommended it to every design leader I know.

Riya Mehta

Design Director, Series C Startup

The speaker quality is absurd. These aren't just people with good job titles — they're people who have actually done the hard work and are willing to share the honest version of it, failures included.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the refund and cancellation policy?
Full refunds are available up to 60 days before the event (July 19, 2026). Between 30–60 days out, we offer a 50% refund or a full credit toward next year's event. Within 30 days of the conference, tickets are non-refundable but are fully transferable — you can send a colleague in your place. If we cancel the event for any reason, you will receive a full refund within 14 business days.
Where should I stay?
We have a room block at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis (directly across the street) at $279/night. Use code DESIGNOPS2026 at marriott.com. We also recommend the Hotel Zelos, Hotel Zetta, and The St. Regis San Francisco, all within a 10-minute walk. Book early — September in SF fills fast.
How do I get there?
Moscone West is at 800 Howard St, San Francisco. By BART: take the Powell St or Montgomery St stations (10-min walk). By rideshare: drop off on Howard St. Parking is available at the 5th & Mission Garage ($30/day). We strongly recommend public transit — parking in SoMa is limited.
Is there a group discount?
Yes! Teams of 4 or more get 20% off all ticket tiers. Teams of 10+ get 30% off. Email us at hello@designopssummit.com with your company name and headcount and we will send you a discount code within one business day.
Will sessions be recorded?
All keynotes and main-stage talks will be recorded. Standard tickets include 90-day access; VIP tickets include lifetime access. Workshop sessions are not recorded to encourage open discussion. Recordings will be shared within 3 weeks of the conference.
What is the Call for Proposals (CFP) process?
We accept proposals on a rolling basis until June 30, 2026. Submit your idea using the form on this page. We review every submission and respond within 4 weeks. We prioritize talks grounded in real practitioner experience over vendor pitches — the more specific and honest your proposal, the better. Accepted speakers receive a complimentary conference pass and travel assistance upon request.
Is there a scholarship or diversity program?
Yes. We offer 30 scholarship tickets each year for practitioners from underrepresented backgrounds or those experiencing financial hardship. Apply via the CFP / Interest form below. We also partner with organizations including Blacks Who Design and Latinx in UX to promote attendance.
What are the COVID / health policies?
We follow CDC guidance and local San Francisco public health requirements. Specific policies will be communicated 30 days before the event. We have a flexible transfer policy in case of illness — you can give your ticket to a colleague or receive a credit toward next year.
Is there a Code of Conduct?
Yes, and we take it seriously. DesignOps Summit is committed to a harassment-free, inclusive experience for everyone regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, or experience level. Our full Code of Conduct is available on our website. Violations should be reported to hello@designopssummit.com or to any staff member on-site.
